Sunday 11 January 2009 Vintage Sports Car Club Driving Tests See dozens of pre-war sports cars put through their paces in a demanding set of competitive tests which set a premium on driver skill and quick thinking.
Get close to the action at this, the first competitive event of the VSCC's 75th anniversary year, at the birthplace of British motorsport.
Everybody welcome to a great spectator day out. Special parking arrangements: competitors and pre-1940 vehicles ONLY via the Campbell Gate; all others follow special event signs. Gates open at 9am, competition starts at 10am. Usual prices apply
Torchlight Tours Now booking for 14th & 28th January 11th & 25th February Seek out the ghosts of Brooklands and look at the history of this wonderful site by torchlight. Tours last about 90 mins-2 hours, and there's complimentary drinks beforehand. Pre-booking is essential (£12/head) - these tours are not suitable for children under 12 years old. BROOKLANDS TRUST MEMBERS The Association of Friends of Brooklands Museum and the Brooklands Club have joined together to become the Brooklands Trust Members. This is the only official support organisation for Brooklands Museum and its 6,000 Members enjoy unlimited FREE ENTRY to the historic Brooklands site. Join as an Individual (£30pa), a Couple (£45pa) or as a Family (£50pa for 2 adults and up to 3 children aged between 6 and 16) and enjoy special Members' events. Club Level Membership is also available (£85pa) and includes use of the Members' Bar in the Clubhouse. The Brooklands Concorde Experience is open daily Boarding Passes* for the experience are £4 for Adults and £2 for Children
Make sure you buy your boarding pass at the start of your visit as there is a limited number of seats on Concorde each day.

HOW TO FIND US Our main visitor entrance is via Brooklands Drive, the new road leading also to Mercedes-Benz World.
From the A245 (Parvis Road/Byfleet Road from the A3 or West Byfleet) Follow the brown museum signs up Sopwith Drive to the Museum/MBWorld entrance roundabout.
From Weybridge (B374) Turn right onto Wellington Way and follow brown museum signs to the Museum/ MBWorld entrance roundabout.
By public transport, The 436 bus runs every 20mins from Weybridge Station.
Car Parking Follow "Brooklands Museum" signs up Brooklands Drive and around the side of Mercedes-Benz World. There is Disabled Parking on the right as you approach the Museum car park. Entrance to the Museum is over our new footbridge.

A host of activities will feature at the Museum during October Half-Term (27 -31 October)
The full details of the special event being held to celebrate the centenary of British Aviation and 100 years of powered aviation at Brooklands have been announced. A copy of the poster for the event, giving full details, is attached.
Results of the inaugual Double Twelve competition, held during the 2008 Brooklands Motoring Festival over the weekend of 28/29 June, have been announced.
The famous Concorde model which has been the gate guardian at London's Heathrow Airport for many years has found a new home at Brooklands Museum
AN IMPORTANT Formula 1 Williams race car has joined the Brooklands Museum collection in the Museums Grand Prix Exhibition.
