Ah Paree! Walks along the Seine, a glass of wine on the Champs Elysee, the gardens of Versailles visits to Le Louvre. …But what about the kids? Simple, ‘Disneyland Paris’ must rate as one of the biggest carrots in the world for children who live just across the Channel and you will probably like much of it yourself! Over in Orlando, Disneyland is called ‘The Magic Kingdom’ as it provides a magical memorable experience for everyone, especially for little ones who have not yet lost that bit of stardust in their eyes. So will their visit here. Check out our list of the top attractions at Disneyland Park, or why not visit our section on Walt Disney Studios Park.

Disneyland Paris is made up of five themed ‘lands’, which radiate out from ‘Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant’ (Sleeping Beauty's Castle). They are Main Street U.S.A., Frontierland, Fantasyland, Adventureland and Discoveryland. Fantasyland will be a favourite with the younger generation and the best place to encounter famous cartoon characters like Peter Pan and Snow White. Whereas the high tech rides and attractions of Discoveryland will best appeal to teenagers in the family. To get the most out of your precious visit whether it’s just a day or a week requires some careful planning. Childfriendly aims to help you in this by giving a clear description of the most popular attractions, explaining what it is, who it is suitable for and how long the queues are likely to be. Two recommendations of what not to miss - a trip on the railroad which runs all the way around Disneyland Park and gives you an good overall impression and secondly make sure you see one of those famous Disney parades, which take place every afternoon and also every evening during holiday periods. If you’ve never been to a Disney Park you are in for a big treat! |
