Disneyland Paris - Walt Disney Studios Park

Walt Disney Studios Park is a must-do experience for any film buff and for the kids too if they enjoy Disney-Pixar films like ‘Toy Story’ and  ‘Cars’ as well as the old Cartoon Classics. At present all the attractions are spread out between four studio lots, to be extended to five in late August of 2010. They are called: ‘Front Lot’, ‘Production Courtyard’, ‘Toon Studio’ and ‘Backlot’ The fifth one will be called ‘Toy Story Playground’ and will naturally concentrate on the Toy Story theme from the successful three films. The main entrance takes you into ‘Front Lot’, a reconstruction of Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard and this is where you will find the main shopping area and restaurants. ‘Toon Studio’ specializes in cartoon characters and attractions linked to Disney’s recent Pixar successes such as ‘Cars’ and Crush's Coaster. Younger children will love this area. Older kids will be more attracted to the thrills and spills of ‘Backlot’. ‘Production Courtyard’ is possibly the one you will enjoy the most with its mix of cinema nostalgia, a great stage show and with a little bit of horror thrown in, inside the ‘Tower of Terror’.

There’s more than enough to fill a full day out, particularly if you remember there are shows and a classic Disney Parade to watch. A second visit may well be needed.
