The setting of this country café is just delightful, in the hamlet of Langsett, next to a picturesque reservoir on the edge of the Peak District National Park. There are pushchair friendly walks through the woods next to the reservoir and a great dipping pond, as well as more strenuous walks and bike routes. They open early for breakfast (which is served all day); light snacks and hearty cooked meals are on the menu for lunch and delicious cakes, ice creams and hot and cold drinks are available all day. Locally sourced ingredients are used when possible, espresso coffees are Fairtrade and they have Vegetarian, Gluten Free or Vegan options. There’s a children’s menu, plenty of space for pushchairs, a safe enclosed garden with a play area and toys and books to keep the little ones busy. Open 7am to 4pm weekdays, 9am to 5pm weekends
