Humbleton Falls, Wooler

Humbleton Falls overview

Humbleton Falls Cottage is so called because there is a little waterfall and mill stream at the end of the garden attached to this former dairy, now converted into a comfortable holiday home at the edge of the Northumberland National Park. The rooms are spacious with high quality fittings and furniture and outside there is a flat grassed area and paved small garden. The cottage is on a working ... farm and within walking distance of the village of Wooler with shops and a pub. It’s a good area for walking and exploring the many historic sites of this border area, although the kids will probably appreciate that the nearest beach resort of Bamburgh is only 15 minutes by car. ACCOMMODATION – Five steps lead to the entrance of Humbleton Falls cottage. Living room with arched windows and dining area. Spacious modern fitted kitchen/dining room. Six steps down from living room to double bedroom with four-poster bed and en-suite shower room with toilet. Two twin bedrooms. Bathroom with toilet. Enclosed rear garden and patio with furniture. Secure cycle store. Waterfall and stream to front of property. NB: Unsuitable for the infirm. FOR KIDS - Baby and toddler friendly cottages offer excellent facilities and information for families and meet child safety guidelines. Properties have a cot, high chair, stair gate if necessary and a microwave. Suggestions are given for playgrounds, soft play centres, beaches and child friendly places to eat nearby. A list is also provided with information about the nearest chemist, doctor, supermarket and delivery services.
