Gateside is a beautiful stone farmhouse cottage conversion on the edge of the little village of Newton Upon Rawcliff, which has not only a village pub but also a duck pond. The cottage is well ...
furnished and makes an ideal base for a family wishing to explore this part of Yorkshire. It is just four miles to the centre of the market town of Pickering and the coastal resort town of Whitby and historic city of York are both within an easy half hours or so’s drive. ACCOMMODATION – Beautifully converted from an old threshing barn, on the first floor Gateside has a large light sitting room with wood burning stove, original beams and a view over the village green. Large fitted kitchen and dining room are also on the first floor. On the ground floor are three bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single and a bathroom with shower over bath. Private courtyard garden with furniture. FOR KIDS – Cot, high chair and stair gate available on request. Selection of traditional toys.
