Bracknell has loads on offer for families looking for a fun day out together! With a number of great open spaces and well-maintained parks that house some fantastic child friendly venues there’s no doubt that a day out to Bracknell will keep all the kids entertained. Down in Swinley Forest any little monkeys you might have can hang out at Go Ape’s high wire forest adventure park where they can take part in a series of tree top thrills. Alternatively head to the Crown Estate’s 1000 hectares of woodlands where you’ll find The Look Out Discovery Centre which has lots of fun interactive exhibits and science shows that are engagingly informative. Not forgetting South Hill Park the location for the Wilde Theatre and South Hill Park Arts Centre, named after the famously witty Irish writer who apparently visited South Hill Park and is believed to have written the short story ‘The Selfish Giant’ whilst in the gardens there. The theatre is always putting on various entertainment, from live music to theatre and exhibitions so check their website for the latest family fun. |
