I actually accompanied my son’s class on a school trip to Houghton Mill, and I enjoyed the day as much as the twenty four 7-8 year olds! The setting is lovely, however we did not manage to walk around outside as it was such a wet day. All the activities organised for the children were very interesting and kept them entertained for the whole of the session. The staff were very friendly and obviously used to children. We plan to go again this summer as a family.
