Tatton Park overview
Tatton Park is one of the UK’s most beautiful historic estates situated in the Cheshire Peak District just 3.5 miles north of Knutsford. It offers a 1000-acre deer park, Tudor Hall Mansion, ...
beautiful gardens and much more. There really is something for all the family including a visit to the farm, playground area, gift shops and bike hire etc. If you fancy a bite to eat The Stables is Tatton Park’s self-service restaurant selling a varied homemade menu including hot and cold meals. Further facilities include high chairs, toilets with baby changing and disabled access. The Mansion itself is used to hold wedding and celebrations so if you’re looking for somewhere to host your next event this could be the place that is talked about for years to come! The whole family will love these fabulous gardens and there are often special events such as the RHS Flower Show and Open-air theatre and concerts so check what is on offer before you go.
Segway Rally and Tatton Park visit
05 Apr 2012
Visited with: Infant, Child
We visited Tatton Park today 5th April 2012 as I had bought my dad and husband a segway rally experience. We were guided around to the segway section and watched my Dad and Husband practice before they went off into the woods to have a race or two. After they finished we went and played on the adventure playground which was packed due to it being the Easter holidays. Our little boy (6) had a great time playing on the swings and climbing around the park. After a while we went for a walk around the gardens which were lovely and all the flowers were blooming. We then went to have a look at the farm animals and we had a look around the mansion. We had a fab time with grandparents, parents and kids and there was something for everyone. It was reasonably priced for a good day out. We would deffinately return here again but can imagine on days with bad weather it wouldn't be as fun.

Tatton Park in Cheshire is a great day out for kids, it has a wide variety of different things to visit including, the Mansion House, the Old Hall and the Farm. Kids can also play in the children’s play area in the park or go on a nature trail to see the local wildlife. There are a number of different themed gardens they can visit including the Japanese Garden and the Walled Garden to see plants from around the world and they can also visit the Glasshouses to see the fruit growing. People can eat at the Stables Restaurant which is child friendly with highchairs and there are also plenty of toilets and baby changing facilities available.

We visited the park on a sundayand had a great time. The park and gardens are just beautiful and kept really well. Theres lots to do if you're looking for something outdoorsy! We walked around, visited the farm, playground and stopped at the cafe. The cafe was lovely for a quick bite and they had facilities to cater for a family and babies. They had clean toilets with baby changing and warmed our baby milk for us. They have a few little shops which are gorgeous selling tatton park produce and they're great for gifts. They also have a flower shop which was really nice. Will definatley revisit.
