At one time deliberate shipwrecking was a growth industry hereabouts, although obviously illegal! In this fascinating, child orientated centre you can find out all about it and about almost every kind of shipwreck from the Titanic to Pirate Galleons. Also on display you can see cutlery, china, ornaments, military regalia, silver and gold coins salvaged from many different shipwrecks, together with the diving equipment used to bring them back to the surface.
