On a rather wet miserable cold day trying to entertain a 2.5 year old is not always the easiest mission!! After wellies on the beach and dog walking through the fields we decided to take my little boy to the "fun shack" to which we will not be returning nor would I reccomend to any other parent or carer!! It is a huge well set up environment for children bursting with energy but alas unless your child fits the perfect age catogory it's a no go!! My little boy who is robust and active and likes to run jump and climb with a bit of a challenge ahead of him found the 0-4 section a tad boring after being constantly told to watch the baby careful of the baby etc etc I decided to take him On the larger section which was way more attractive to him bit of a challenge with a bit of rough an tumble unforunaltley within 2 mins of been on there we were asked to leave the frame so I had paid £7.50 - £5.50 per child then 50p per adult I have never in all my years ( 15 in child care ) ever paid in a soft play for an adult!!! I asked for my money back as my little boy was frustrated in the baby area how they expect 2,3,4 year olds to play in the area is beyond me!! Ok for the shy retiring child who doesn't want to fuss and just to have a quiet time but not for those who are brimming with energy!!! To which I was refused my money!! At this point I put our shoes on and left the building never I hope to return again!!! And if you have any sense will not either! Unless of course your child fits into the over 5 section and your prepare to pay 50p for yourself... I think not!!!
