Blackpool Sands is one of the very few sandy beach in the South Hams! The priviledge of being able to play in golden warm sand is Not free of charge as described on the other review! However, I have on numerous occasion paid for that priviledge, and have not regret it once! The beach is a beautiful spot and you can quite easily spend the all day there! The beach is VERY popular and can get crouded...but the enjoyment of the blue sea, warm sand, numerous activities, and lets not forget the ice cream heaven, makes it all worthwhile! Children love the place! And because it is a little enclosed Paradise, there are quite save!
