A long sandy beach, the starting point for the Jurassic trail and all the facilities of a well established holiday resort, Exmouth has certainly a lot going for it and you can make a family day out ...
here even more enjoyable by taking the kids on a genuine treasure hunt! To do this you follow their directions on a well-marked trail. The answers will be found on various monuments, inscriptions, street signs etc along the way. Once you have the answers, you have to solve the puzzle to discover the treasure’s location and hopefully win a cash prize in their annual draw. This Treasure Hunt Trail should take around 3 hours and is approx 4.5 miles long. It starts at the Bus and Rail Station in Exmouth and takes you through the Gardens, along the cliff tops & seafront. The trail is suitable for pushchairs but is not advisable for wheelchair users.
