Playdome overview
Playdome is a children's indoor play centre in Honiton, Essex. It is located on an industrial estate with convenient parking, open seven days a week and suitable for children from babies up to the ...
age of 12. Playdome has three separate areas for children of different ages. The small baby area has mirrors, blocks and cushions, while the toddler area has an enclosed ball pit and small slide. In the junior area there is another ball pit, a longer slide and a 4 metre drop slide. At the very top is a helicopter which little ones love to climb into and look down, and the equipment is fun yet challenging.
A fantastic parents area offers a selection of drinks and snacks, comfortable seating, televsion and free wi-fi. A range of healthy meals and traditional children's meals are also available, with plenty of tables to sit and eat. Also on site is the Oasis Beauty Salon with creche facilities and a range of hairdressing and treatments available.
Playdome offers a variety of party packages and private hire options, as well as pamper parties in the beauty salon.
A great place for a rainy day, and air conditioning means that it can also be enjoyed in the summer.
We love soft play

We visited Playdome while on holiday in Devon and it was a great place to spend a few hours on a rainy day. There is a good amount of play equipment suitable for ages, with a small baby area and separate toddler area. Adults can accompany children on to the equipment. There is also a parents area with food and drink, free wi-fi and comfortable chairs and also a beauty salon on-site. We arrived soon after opening on a weekday and it was empty, but filled up quickly. It isn't the largest place and I can see that when it is busy it would feel very crowded. There wasn't much supervision by staff of the different areas to make sure that older children weren't in the younger sections, but luckily parents were keeping a good eye out.
