If your family enjoys cycling and seeing wildlife then you can combine both in a very entertaining way by trying to solve a Spy Mission set in the lovely Plym valley just outside Plymouth. The idea ...
is simple. Treasure Trails will provide you with a set of clues for which you have to find answers. To do this you follow their directions on a well-marked trail. The answers will be found on various monuments, inscriptions, road signs etc on your ride. Once you have them you have to solve the clues and crack a code and hopefully win you a cash prize in their annual draw. The trail starts at the Park & Ride at Coypool, near Marsh Mills and heads northwards towards Clearbrook on the southern edge of Dartmoor. The trail is 7 miles one way and takes around 3 hours to complete. It is set entirely on a designated national cycle route. It is level & generally well maintained, apart from the final short section.
