Babbacombe Model Village overview
Children and adults alike will find so much to see and admire in this amazing model village. You can peer down from the walls of Merrivale Castle and see enactments of many of the scenes of life in ...
Medieval England. Amongst the hundreds of miniature buildings, people and vehicles are brought to life by cunning animation. A really different kind of entertainment for the family. It is also illuminated at night for an early evening visit.

The model village is definitely worth a visit but if you are looking for a day out, it needs combining with something else as it is quite quickly done and dusted!
The best time to visit is early evening as it is fully illuminated and looks absolutely stunning,
Children will be enchanted by the miniature trains and houses and peering into the little buildings.
It's not easy to get around if you have a pushchair however.
There's a small cafe which offers basic food - but decent food rather than just burgers and chips as so many places offer these days.
