For any child interested in birds this is the only place in the world where you are able to walk through the heart of a colony of nesting Mute Swans and if it is the right time of the year you will see hundreds of fluffy cygnets hatch from eggs in nests on or near the pathways. Mass feeding sessions are held every day and some children may be asked to help feed the swans.
