Magic Land overview
Magic Land is one of the larges soft play areas in Gloucestershire. A visit here will be a real treat for children of any age. There are slides galore from wavy ones to a giant Astra one and of ...
course all the landings are soft. Some of the most popular items are the softball cannons, which fire soft balls at any fixed targets, or other children! There is also a special toddler area and even a five-a-side football pitch. There is a comfortable central cafe where you can keep an eye on the kids, with a basic children’s menu so you also have the option of feeding them here to give yourself a break. You may also be interested in their Toddler Group meetings from 10am to 12pm every Tuesday and Thursday.

We picked Magicland as a central place to meet before Christmas, Grandma, Grandad 2 lots of mums and dads and three boys. Everyone had a good time, the boys playing, the adults enjoying lovely coffee, and good food. The staff were really helpful and very kind. All in all a super day, and not expensive.

Ok for wet days

I live local to Magic Land its although its not my first choice for a visit it comes in handy for wet days through the school holidays. Inside is looking tired and some parts of the soft play need patching up. There is very little supervision by staff so I try to not go in if there are a lot of teenagers as they are too boisterous for the younger kids. I won't eat from the cafe as I personally find the food cheap tasting, poor quality and greasy for which you will pay a premium price I'd rather go to McDonalds for mediocre fast food. In the summer it can get very hot inside so we bring plenty to drink. I have found the toilets to be dirty frequently and the service isn't particularly fast or cheerful.
I do occasionally take my youngest to the Toddler Times on Tuesday/Thursday mornings as they provide squash/grapes or fruit snacks and play in the soft play/Toys/Crafts/Colouring for around £1.50 so its good value.
Over all its not great but its an OK place to spend a few hours with bored kids on rainy days.

good fun

We visited on a Saturday morning and just got the last parking space. A small queue getting in but once inside there were plenty of tables and seats. A couple of birthday parties were going on which seemed to slow the kitchen down a bit but the quality of the food and drink was good. The slide here is very long and fast so kept the kids entertained for quite a while. After that they were off to the football pitch for a kick about. Great fun and good exercise for the children, only downside is play was limited to 1.5 hours because we went at the weekend.

Magicland is a great play area for children up to around 12yrs. There is an enclosed toddler area but the majority of the space is taken up by the large play frame and slides suitable for kids over 4yrs.
There is a large cannon area where you can shoot each other with air cannons firing out soft balls. For those children who like football there is a five-a-side football pitch where you can kick a soft football around, or play a football match with your friends.
You are not supposed to take food in but there is a café serving drinks, snacks and hot food. There are plenty of chairs, which overlook the play frame; there are even a few sofas as well.
Magicland is a little way out of Cirencester in an unusual location (part industrial estate, part residential area). The parking is quite limited but you can park up the road if you need to. If you can take the younger children in school time it is much cheaper. Peak prices (which are weekends, holidays and after school) are quite expensive.
