FREE SWIMMING FOR KIDS

11 Mar 2010
Visited with: Child, Teenager
I take my children swimming here every Sunday as the children swim for free. You have to register with them the first time you go for an annual fee of £1.00 per child but then they swim for free the rest of the year. Adults prices are £3.00 each. If you go early enough, the pool is pretty quiet but does start getting busy after 11am. They have a seperate babies pool which is lovely and wam and the main pool is sectioned off at the shallow end for the smaller children. The ladies changing rooms have recently been upgraded and are nice although they could do with better lockers. Some dont always work but there are plenty which charge a refundable 50p and there are some cubicles with baby changing tables in or big enough to get 3 people in. The toilets and showers have also been upgraded and area really nice now. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. Plenty of other leisure facilities on offer. Cafe upstairs is ok and reasonably priced and the car park on sundays is free too!!
