Cheeky Chimps overview
Cheeky Chimps is a soft play centre for ages up to 10. Its a great place to meet up with the mums for a coffee and natter while the kids burn off their energy. The centre provides a creche, main play ...
section, an area for baby and toddlers, sports zone and party areas. There is also a cafe with affordable prices and hot and cold snacks available all day. The extra facilities also include toilets with separate baby changing and feeding room, microwave and bottle warmers, baby bouncers and high chairs. Cheeky Chimps will also host your child’s birthday party taking the stress out of the planning and the cleaning up!. Check out their website for up to date prices. If you become a regular its worth picking up loyalty card where you will receive a free child’s entry after the card is filled. As Cheeky Chimps is located in a large converted mill there is ample free car parking located just outside.

We have been to cheeky chimps quite a few times as it is quite local to us. The play centre is located in an old converted mill near to the town centre. There is free parking in front of the building and you have to go up to the first floor. There are industrial lift if you have a pram which you have to open and close yourself. Inside the play centre there is an electric gate that can only be opened by the staff from behind the counter, to stop the kids getting out. There is a main climbing soft section and a baby and toddler area. They have baby bouncers/ high chairs etc and food warmers. They have other areas for parties and football etc. Toilets are fine with seperate baby changing room. There are seating and tables in the centre of the room for parents and food is served all day. My daughters do enjoy it there but it can get very busy at the weekend so we tend to go during the week before school finishes. This time is very quiet and a nice chance to catch up with friends and their babies.
