Daytona Karting overview

Located near Old Trafford in Salford, Daytona Karting offers fun for all the family, and top class corporate hospitaility. There really is something for everyone, for instance from bambino courses ... aimed at five year olds plus, to group bookings for parties and team building exercises. A licenced bar makes for a more relaxing atmosphere. With free onsite parking suitable for cars and coaches, Daytona can accomodate larger parties as well as individuals. Why not give them a call, or check out their website to see if you can become the next Jenson Button?

The next Jenson Button?

Our son is karting mad, much like Daddy. So when he reached 5 we enrolled him on the bambino karting programme offered at Daytona in Manchester. Starting with module one, he learned how to go fowards and steer - all very gentle for a nervous Mummy. By module two, he was going faster around an outdoor track - with a bouncy tyre wall all the way around so even if he did crash it didn't hurt. He loved it - and despite an admin 'mess up' where the receptionist basically told us we had phoned to rebook for a different day (we hadn't...) and then told us 'well, we'll find out if it was you who called because we record every call' (implying quite strongly we were lying!) it was soon sorted out, we were issued with an apology from management and our son got his module two certificate to go with his module one. If you are interested in motorsports this is great for kids to sample and try it out in a safe, controlled environment. Definitely recommended.
