Another fantastic Manchester theatre

The Palace is a lovely little theatre near Manchester University which me and my partner have been loyal too before we even had our son. Here we have seen some of the best theatre; notably The Rocky Horror Show (amongst others). Since having our little boy we have taken slightly less risqué trips with him but have still enjoyed introducing him to the world of theatre. He's only four but we have found he's old enough for a lot of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals ie. Joseph so we always keep an eye out for what is on. The theatre is old style and if you are on the balcony you will feel like you are going to drop over the edge if you move an inch. It's really exciting though and you can feel the floor move when everyone gets up. If you are going with kids, I'd definitely recommend the stalls even at the extra cost. Toilets are basic and not particularly immaculate but they are clean - the queues are awful though, especially during intervals, make sure you go out before the performances break.
