Playgolf Manchester is located just off the M60 next to The Trafford Centre and is a great activity for all the family. Golfers of all standards from beginners to professionals are welcomed and with ...
fantastic teaching and practice packages are offered if difficult to turn down. The driving range offers 64 driving bays (floodlit at night) and 4 video teaching studios. They can even host a golfing party for the your child’s birthday taking the stress away from you and giving the kids an active and enjoyable experience. Playgolf also offers a cafe, meeting facilities and an excellent American Golf shop. Only recently Championship Miniature Golf has opened giving you a putting experience to remember anytime through the day and even in the evening with its floodlights. There are also regular public tournaments for all ages with prizes for the winners. To find out more about prices, coaching and facilities have a look at their website.

My son (5 and a half) got his first junior set of clubs in the summer, so we headed down here for him to try them out on the range.
With its two tiered driving range you can usually find space although I do get a bit nervous if we end up 'upstairs' with a big drop infront of us even though it is well marked out and my children are sensible. It is all under cover so you can visit even if Manchester's weather is at its usual standard.
I like that there are two tee heights for him to get going on, and even my three year old daughter has a go on the little putting mat behind the main booths. Better still, there are special offers on buckets of balls if you get there early on a Saturday morning. Definitely something good for Daddy and son to do for a bit of male bonding.

We have been to the driving range here at Play golf. They have actually just opened a crazy golf course which looks great for the kids. The staff here are really friendly and helpful and my partner ordered his new set of golf clubs from the american golf shop. They let him go back countless times testing different types out on the driving range while i sit in the cafe and grab a drink. They have nice clean facilities and is fine to take the kids. They offer lessons for juniors and adults all taught by teaching professionals. We will continue to go back to improve our swings!
