Longdown Activity Farm overview

An animal-friendly farm for a child friendly day out. Cows, goats, poultry, pigs, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs and alpacas are all looking forward to meeting you. As they are reared on a children's ... activity farm, the animals are used to people and are consequently docile and easily handled.

More than just a farm

Where shall we play today? Why not head over to Longdown Activity Farm - there's so much to do you might not have time to see the animals! There are trampolines, a soft play area, the hay barn (hay bales with slides) ride on tractors, go-carts and a playground. Have a bumpy tractor ride, operate a digger, build a sandcastle... In between all this you can feed the goats/lambs/sheep/ducks, pretend to milk a cow, stroke a rabbit and hunt for eggs. The whole place is aimed at children. Facilities are basic but clean, there are toilets and baby-changing facitlities. The cafe serves drinks and snacks and there are ample tables for picnics in different areas around the farm. Staff are friendly and welcoming and there are regular special events. Best of all you can search online (try http://www.hampshireattractions.co.uk) and find a voucher for free child entry. A great day out.
