Swanley Park, Swanley
Swanley Park overview
Swanley Park has a huge amount to keep youngsters entertained and a great favourite is the miniature railway, which runs around the whole park picking and dropping people off along the way. If you park in the car park located in New Barn Road, you can jump on the train and it will take you to the swings and boating lake. There is a fun paddling pool and play area with a huge sandpit and in summer ... you will find a bouncy castle and battery bikes. The parkland covers 60 acres and has a beautiful boating lake where you can hire a boat to explore the three-acre lake. Swanley Park has free access and parking, be careful though, as the car park gates close at 6.30pm. There is a cafeteria that sells a wide selection of foods at reasonable prices and public toilets, which can be found next to the bouncy castle. Swanley Park is a real fun day out for the family!

We visit this park in the summer as they run a really cool mini train that runs right the way round the park and even has its own little station to drop you off at the swings. The train is tiny just big enough to sit on, the children would stay on this the whole time if they could. For a single ride you will pay 60p for a child and 70p for an adult, its great fun. There are 2 children’s play areas which have lots to keep the children amused. There is a sandpit and quite a large paddling pool so don’t forget your swimming costumes. Summertime they also have a bouncy castle and go-carts. The lake and grounds are really quite pretty. Well worth a visit.
