Facilities at Blake Recreation Ground include a Children’s play area with equipment that caters for toddlers and children, Junior football pitches, Mini soccer pitches and plenty of green space for your little terrors to enjoy. There is no car parking provided but there plenty available on the roads outside.

This is a local park for us and as parks go it is pretty average, mainly used by locals for the play area and dog walking. The play area has enough to keep the children entertained for a while but I did notice that the equipment is looking very tired and in need of some updating and could probably do with a few more benches for the mums to sit on. There is a ball court and plenty of grass and open space for children to play. As the park is only small there is no car park but we had no trouble finding a space in a nearby road.
