Yalding Gardens overview

Yalding Gardens is a wonderful place for a family day out. Spread over five acres in Kent there are some stunning gardens on display, from a newly created children’s garden with a willow wigloo, to a 13th century apothecary’s garden. You can explore the history of gardening, learn all about organic gardening methods, then relax at the family friendly Bushel Box Café. Seasonal produce is ... used for the delicious food served and while you enjoy breakfast, lunch or a relaxing afternoon tea, the children can tuck into mini portions of hot or cold meals. There’s a children’s corner inside the café with toys and games and some fun games for outdoor play when the weather permits. You won’t be able to resist the Bushel Box Farmshop where you can buy a whole range of products from fresh milk and salads, honey from the farms and home made jams and chutneys. Be sure to check their website for all the latest news and events.

Yalding Gardens, has a family friendly policy. They offer a wide range of good quality affordable homemade food for all the family and also sell the little extras like baby food and milk just in case! They have good baby changing facilities and a year round childrens craft and learning corner in the cafe. They have childrens toys free to use on the cafe terrace, during the summer months. Every school holiday They offer low cost and free childrens activities on Mondays and Wednesdays. They offer a toddler storytelling on the first Monday of every month in school term time. And if that wasn't enough, they have special family fun days such as our Apple festival, National Play Day and Pumpkin Day where we run activities from face painting to trails and crafts, throughout the year.
