Conkers offers a great family day out in a peaceful location. Ideally situated close to the M42, it is a haven of tranquillity in the heart of Leicestershire.
If you enjoy being outdoors, then Conkers in the place for you. With stunning trails through the woods and intermittant playgrounds for the children, everyone is catered for.
There is a large interactive area as you enterw hich provides a great educational experience for older children. Younger ones will enjoy pushing the buttons and getting involved with the activities on offer.
For those who want a less energetic exccursion, there is a train that can take you from one side of the park to the other - perfect for weary feet - and it has space for a small number of pushchairs too.
There are a couple of places to eat that offer a good choice of healthy food options and a lovely little gift shop.
Affordable and friendly, I would highly recommend it.
