Available Car Car Supermarket, Castle Donington

You may be thinking it's a bit odd (and I'm a little bit crazy!) to be adding a review of a Car Supermarket to Child Friendly. BUT let me say this - if you are stuck with the task of having to go car shopping with a couple of bored young children in tow, Available Car seems to make it somewhat less painful. Inside they have a soft play area - not massive, but enough to keep toddlers and younger children entertained for half an hour while Daddy wonders around looking at cars and Mummy supervises the kids. With vending machines and decent, clean toilets and nappy changing facilities to hand, it seems that Available Car have thought about families when creating their car showroom. We have been here a couple of times, and if it's freezing out I stay in the warm while my husband looks at cars, or if it's nice out we bribe our children with a promise of 10 minutes in the soft play area if they were on their best behaviour when we were outside looking at cars. They also get plenty of outdoor air in their lungs! So please don't think I'm completely crazy... if you need to buy a car and can't get a babysitter, visit here. It makes it slightly less tedious than it could be!
