Farm fun for families!

Manor Farm Animal Centre & Donkey Sanctuary is an excellent day out for children and parents alike. There is a wide variety of farm animals that your children can get up close too. There are pigs, sheep, ducks, goats and of course donkeys. You can have a donkey ride or even take a tractor ride to the hidden play area at the back of the farm. (which is absolutely huge and we ended up spending a good few hours here as our children wouldn't leave!) Children are able to feed the animals and also hold the smaller, more domestic ones such as rabbits and guinea pigs. If you take the nature walk, which is perfectly suitable for pushchairs too, you will come across the Birds of Prey area where you will find beautiful owls. See if your child goes as mad for a Hedwig lookalike as my daughter did! You can even adopt an owl howevere you cannot take it home with you! In case the weather does turn grey (it is Britain after all), there is an indoor play barn designed to look like a Knights Castle, there us also a Pirate Ship play area, Go-Karts and a designated toddler area. For the grown up's there is a tea shop selling gorgeous cakes and coffee. The entry prices are very reasonable, £6.50 for adults, £5.50 for children and little ones under two are free! This has to be one of the best days out I have had with my children as they loved every second of it and the sun shined all day too!
