A good afternoon out.

Stonehurst Farm is an ideal location for a family afternoon outing. It's not big enough to spend the whole day there but ideal to keep the kids entertained for a few hours.
It cost us about £20 for 2 adults and 2 children which seemed really reasonable for what was there.
You can buy bags of food and feed the horses, goats, cows, pigs etc. My little boy really enjoyed being able to hold some rabbits. They have pony rides for about £1 and a tractor ride for free. There is also a play area with toy tractors and swing ropes in a barn of hay bales near the picnic area.
The staff were really friendly and they are always around if you need any help.
There is a cafe there serving food but I'm not too sure about prices or what the food is like as we took a picnic. There is also a gift shop which sells kids toys and brilliant farm produce.
