This is one of the best presented museums of history for children, with easy to read and listen to displays of our capitals history. It could not be sited in a better place because under its foundations are the remains of a Roman amphitheatre and London's defensive wall, all carefully excavated and explained. There is also a very extensive collection of British art mainly from the Victorian era.
