As you might expect this museum has the largest selection of RAF planes on display of from modern jets to World War One bi-planes. There are also thousands of other exhibits relating to their illustrious history. But you really don't need an airplane enthusiast in the family to enjoy a great day out here as its difficult not to be impressed by their displays. This is particularly so if you choose a day when some of these planes are actually flying, so do check on their website to see what will be in the air!
