Description:
This is an absolute must for any family holiday in London. This gigantic Ferris wheel on the Thames Embankment is London's most popular visitor attraction. No wonder, as the breathtaking ride high in the sky above London lets you see up to 25 miles in all directions. It takes about 30 minutes to do the full circle so you will have plenty of time to spot landmarks while your children take the photos.

Taking our 1 and 3 year old on the London Eye was the highlight of our New Years Break in the Capital. They absolutely loved it; it was great spotting all the sights of interest. There was a long queue after we had bought the tickets but there is a playground opposite that my husband took the kids to while I queued. Just up the river there is a restaurant called Girraffe which again was great with small children, fantastic healthy food and reasonable prices.
