The remains of this Elizabethan theatre were only discovered during the building of the office block over it and it is rather special as it is where Shakespeare probably first worked. An award-winning multimedia sound and light show tells the history of the Theatre and of the surrounding area of Bankside. Although admission is currently by appointment only, there are regular open days and special events at the site.
