It is difficult to imagine that this authentic replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship has sailed over a100,000 miles around the world before being permanently berthed here. The ship is now completely given over to providing an entertaining and educational experience to all family members of what is was like to be a sailor at the time of the Spanish Armada. This is achieved through the use of skilled interpreters, dressed in Tudor costume, who show you around the ship. You can even book whole day experiences where you get to sample the food they ate and listen to the tales of the seamen (slightly censored of course!)
