In my husbands (who is not easily pleased) word.....'the farm was actually really good- very interesting......the staff make it!......
I agree, the welcoming staff do make the visit even more pleasant with their enthusiasm and obvious love for the animals/farm.
We visited yesterday with my 6 year old nephew, 4 year old niece and my two daughters (4 and 1.5). All interacted with the animals. Stayed from 11am-2pm (adequate time).
Thank you all at Urban farm, look forward to visiting again to see tropical zoo!

The Urban Farm has been here for as long as I can remember, during lambing season its a great place to visit and the children can help feed the lambs with bottles etc.
Be prepared though that its not ideal for a whole day out, if its a busy day it may take a little longer to get round everything but half a day is easily enough. I also wouldnt worry about travelling here from a far, if your local brilliant but if not I wouldnt do the journey personally, it doesnt have anything that makes it stand out from any other farms within SE England.
