Dinosaurs and the tribes and creatures of Neanderthal times are not real, but they are all incredibly realistic when encountered on the well sign posted walks. It comes as a relief to see lovely deer in the park and farm animals to pet back in our era. There are many activities like digging for fossils or Raptor racing, but maybe just letting the kids play in the Adventure Play Area as you relax over lunch is maybe the best bet.
A giant day of fun.

My eldest is obsessed with Dinosaurs, so when we went to Norfolk for the weekend, a visit to the Dinosaur Adventure park was an obvious choice. I have to say its one of the best days out we have had in a long time. There is so much to do - from a massive adventure playground for the children to run around outside on, with slides galore to an indoor play area with massive drop slides for the more adventurous. The park has an obvious dinosaur theme and there is a nice wooded walk you can go on to find lots of different dinosaur models. There is also a small farm with animals and displays and a mini pitch and putt. Cleverly the park give the children a sheet when they first arrive where they can collect different stamps around the park so you need to go exploring around. If you get all your stamps (there are 9) at the end you get a medal. We spent the whole day there and it was definitely worth the money (£12.95 for a child and £9.95 for an adult). My only grumble is that the food was quite expensive, so I would definitely recommend taking a picnic, and there is plenty of picnic areas. All of my children cant wait to return!

At Dinosaur Adventure you will get amazing photos of your kids and they will all have a fantastic time as my children have always done. Dinosaur Adventure is one of the most child friendly places you can visit and my children love it. Little children will love to stamp there passport as they find adventurous things hidden around the park. At the end they even get a medal. Dinosaur Adventure has been around for some years but it has been totally updated recently with many new hands on activities. We took my niece and she loved sitting in the sand and finding dinosaur fossils. Young or old your child will love to see the many dinosaur models hidden in the massive woods. They Dinosaurs are fenced off amongst the trees but be warned the park is on a steep hill. My young niece found this hard and we had to carry her. This is a delightful place for children and you will hear the sounds of real animals as well as those of the dinosaurs. There are several dinosaur playgrounds as well as lots of animals to handle such as rabbits and guinea pig. Take a picnic and spend the day as we did.

Well, well, well, who would have thought that in the middle of the Norfolk countryside you would find a park covering acres and acres dedicated to a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth. This is a spectacular and exciting day out for all ages. Children and adults alike will have the most fantastic time. Here, you can run around to your heart’s content in lots of open space, enjoying the enormous wooden swings, the mini trampolines, mini-golf, zip wires, swinging bridges and more. Then take the winding path through the forest where you will come across HUGE dinosaurs, abandoned range rovers and look outs kitted with phones and walkie-talkies. The wide paths are easy for pushchairs to navigate so there are no worries about access here. When you reach the end of the wood you will find a big common where you can picnic, a country cottage where you can eat and drink, a lovely farm with all types of animals and a real studio where you can see and buy superb Dinosaur sculptures made from metal. What a fabulous day out we had here. The cafe/restaurant was newly built and very clean and reasonable. There was a day/study centre being built when we visited and of course you can only exit the premises by going through the shop - however it is a nice shop, with quality gifts and merchandise. We all had a great time here is was fun, exciting and educational.

Tyrannosaurus Rex and those scary flying pterodactyls have attracted the imagination of most of us whatever our age and they are all here! No, they have not yet resurrected them from fossilized DNA but they do the next best thing and throw in the odd Neanderthal man as well. Arm yourself with the Adventurers' Guide, and discover how they do it, for a truly amazing family day out.
