Cyrils Nut Hut overview

Cyril the squirrel loves to climb and so will your children in this vibrant and challenging soft play adventure centre. 3 levels of challenging soft play has been designed by parents of young ... children who understand the importance of developing your child mentally as well as physically, without them even realising all the work they're doing!! Allow your child to play in a safe and secure environment whilst you relax and chat over a coffee, fun is to be had by all.

Have fun at Cyril's

We have visited Cyrils Nut Hut a few times with our 2 youngest children and they always have a great time. There is plenty to do and the play area is split into three levels with an area for babies, one for small children with a little slide and a much bigger area for older ones. There is also a ball pool and some play equipment outside of the main play zone, including a play house and play kitchen. There is plenty of seating and a small cafe which sells a range of food and drink. Its quite popular so gets quite busy. There is a price scale depending on whether its a weekday/weekend/school holiday so for the best value for money I would suggest to go in the week. My only gripe is that there is only one ladies toilet and one mens which can mean queuing. However when I visited this week (Feb 2012) there were signs up to say they would be improving the toilets soon.

i often go to cyrils nut hut at least once a week, my daughter ( 18 month) loves it. Besides the huge play frame, it has a smaller soft play enclosed area for smaller crawling babies. The cafe is pretty fast at bringing your order out, however the only downside is no fruit or veg is on the menu. The toilets have baby changing available in both men and female tooilets which is great for dads. The whole area including the cafe is in an enclosed area which mkes it perfectly safe for little feet to go wondering. Cyrils nut hut definatly keeps my daughter occupied for hours and is worn out when we leave ensuring a good nights sleep for me.

Perfect for energetic children!

I've visited this soft play several times and at the moment it isn't the best one for my son because of his age and abilities but I can see he's going to love it in years to come...! There's a small desgnated baby area with a material slide and a few soft play blocks, the sides are high so small children can't climb out easily. But you do get some of the older more boisterous children in here and there doesn't seem to be any 'policing' of the areas. To the side they have a wendy house and kitchen out on the carpet so there's plenty of running around and crawl space. The main play area has 2 parts to it, one is a climbing area upto several platforms and a small double slide and the other is a maze of platforms, ball pits, slides, tunnels and swinging bits and pieces. This side is a little too big for my son at the moment, it would suit children from age 2 upwards. There's lots of seating available and they serve a range of reasonable priced food although the choice isn't as great as other soft plays I've been to. There's toilets and baby change available and if you are planning on having a party here they have a seperate area overlooking the soft play so you have a bit of privacy. There's plenty of parking which is free and although its a little hidden and tucked away in the middle of a housing/business estate, it isn't far from the town centre and is walkable.
