Treasure Hunt Trail overview
Abingdon is a pretty little market town on the banks of two rivers, the Ock and the Thames and a pleasant family outing would be to take the kids on a Treasure Trails treasure hunt around the town. ...
The idea is simple. Treasure Trails will provide you with a set of clues for which you have to find answers. To do this you follow their directions on a well-marked trail. The answers will be found on various monuments, inscriptions, street signs etc along the way. Once you have the answers, you have to solve the puzzle to discover the treasure’s location and hopefully win a cash prize. The route is relatively level, although there is one flight of steps and an area of flat grassland involved so be careful with a pushchair and sorry but not really suitable for a wheelchair.
