Roman Baths & Pump Rooms overview
It was fashionable in Roman times and during the elegant Regency period and has once more regained its popularity. This best preserved of all Roman Baths (in the world!) has audio guides, quizzes, ...
demonstrations and guided tours, designed especially for children. Its fascinating history, from Roman Temple, fashionable Georgian spa, to the present day are all brought to life. You can't take the waters in the main pool but you can try drinking it in the elegant Pump room although the kids will probably prefer to stick to Coke

The Roman Baths and Pump Rooms in Bath are an interesting place to take children. They are over 2000 years old and have lots of history to them. There are four main areas, which are the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Bath House and the museum which has artefacts from the Roman period to the present day. Children can enjoy the Roman Baths with their own special audio tour and this is included free of charge. Please bear in mind though that buggies aren’t allowed in the underground parts of the site so its not great for young children – you can get baby carriers from staff at the Baths though which help.
