The snowdome in Tamworth offers a great family day out for all the family. Spend an hour tubing (sliding down a snowy bank on a rubber ring to you and me) or practise your skating down on the ice rink. There's skiing and snowboarding for beginners through to experts and the beauty of it is that it is a real snow slope, not artificial as some are.
The centre offers lessons for those wanting to improve their skills and holiday activities such as sledging for school age children.
For younger children, there are even weekly mother and toddler skating sessions.
With parking close by, and Tamworth centre just a short walk away, there is plenty of choice for everyone.
Do check out the Winter Wonderland too - at Christmas the snowdome transforms into a winter spectacular and children will be thrilled to spend a morning there meeting Santa and his reindeer!
