New Victoria Theatre overview
The New Victoria Theatre in Woking is one of the largest theatres outside London, with a seating capacity of 1,300 people. Musicals, shows, drama, children's performances, as well as touring Ballet ...
and Theatre groups are all part of their rich and varied programme. Of course, for the kids, the annual pantomime is a must, so check out their website for details of what is coming up. The 230 seat Rhoda McGaw Theatre is also part of the complex.
A lovely theatre right at the heart of Woking

We have been to the New Victoria Theatre a few times and its a lovely big theatre which shows many of the main shows that tour after doing the West End in London. Tickets are normally a bit cheaper than in London so you can get better seats - we have been on the front row a few times and the atmosphere is electric. You can enter via the Peacocks Shopping Centre or on the ground level of the multi-story car park and there are plenty of amenities close by - many eateries are located in the Peacocks centre if you need a bite to eat. They are lots of different shows for children throughout the year including their famous pantomime at Christmas (This year (2012) is Sleeping Beauty).
