Family Days Out in Launceston

Known locally as ‘the gateway to Cornwall’ Launceston is a great destination for a family day out. Coronation Park is bound to be a hit with the kids, a park with huge open spaces and great child friendly facilities it’s located within the town. With slides, swings, climbing frames and zip wires the little ones will be happy to spend their time and energy here whilst you can relax on any of their numerous benches dotted around the handsome grounds. If they’ve still not burnt off all their energy in the park then you won’t have to travel far for more fun activities. Phoenix Leisure Centre is located within Coronation Park and has a regular and beginners’ pool as well as an activity hall with numerous fun soft play features. Hidden Valley Discovery Park is also a great family destination with plenty of activities the whole family can take part in together. Whether you want to take a little trip on one of their miniature railways around the park, compete in the ‘Crystals Challenge’ or get lost in the Beech Hedge Maze there’s plenty of family fun on offer.
