Q-Bot – Virtual Queuing System

The park can get extremely busy, especially during School Holidays, Half term and at weekends, which often means long queues and waiting times. To combat this, LEGOLAND has introduced a virtual queuing system called Q-Bot that allows you to select your ride in advance through an allocated time slot, thus giving you the time to explore and enjoy more of the park. Q-Bots can be rented from the Q-Bot nerve centre located at The Beginning or from the booth in LEGO® City at a charge of £10 per Q-Bot. In theory it’s a great idea, one that Disney has introduced free of charge for its Guests. Our opinion, and one echoed by our reviewers, is that Q-Bot is expensive and can substantially increase queuing time for those who cannot afford to rent one.

Parent Swap
Although the park is geared to younger children, there are some rides where children won’t meet height restrictions. Parent Swap is a system that allows parents or guardians to take turns in taking taller children without having to queue twice.

Lost Parents
It’s easy to lose a child in a crowded theme park. Available from the Guest Services booths at the park entrance, lost parent stickers are a quick and effective way of re-uniting you with your child.

Pushchairs
The park is buggy friendly and pushchairs parks are located at most rides. If you don’t want to bring your own, you can hire pushchairs from the LEGO Big Shop.

Babies
LEGO® City offers a private area where mothers can breast or bottle feed their babies and change nappies. There are also dedicated feeding stations located at Pit Stop Café and City Walk restaurant, with a microwave and bottle warmer.

Eating & Drinking
LEGOLAND offers a total of 12 restaurants and cafés in the park including a selection of nutritious meals devised by children’s food guru Annabel Karmel; there is a carvery, 600-seat restaurant, rotisserie and burger ranch as well as a number of fast food outlets. You’ll also find relaxing coffee bars and an ice cream parlour.

Parking
Parking is plentiful and free, although on exit it can get very congested. Those wishing to park closer to the entrance can use the preferred parking facilities at a cost of £5 per car.
