Family Days Out in Luton
|
Luton has lots on offer for families looking for a day out together. Home to Europe’s biggest one-day carnival over the late May Bank Holiday Luton’s Wardown Park is a great place to start. Sitting on the river Lea and in beautiful surroundings it’s a wonderful place for a family wander and also houses the Wardown Park Museum where you can find out all about Luton and its history. Another museum worth having a look at is the Stondon Motor Museum which has one of the largest collections of vehicles in the country with cars from the beginning of the last century to the present day. So if you’ve got any ‘mini motorheads’ in the family then this place is certainly worth a visit. However if your family’s more interested in animals than engines then the place to head to is definitely Woodside Farm & Leisure Park where there’s a whole range of animals that the kids can get p close to. Woodside also has a series of great play areas with a huge helter skelter, bouncy castles, trampolines and numerous climbing frames. So why not make Luton your next destination for a family day out? |
