Family Days Out in Pembrokeshire
|
Head to the Welsh coast of Pembrokeshire for a wonderful family day out and where you’ll find there are plenty of child friendly places to visit. Lots of children have a fascination with dinosaurs so why not take them to The Dinosaur Park in Tenby which hosts a large replica collection of these prehistoric monsters dotted around their woodlands that will thrill the little ones. Plus there are plenty of other attractions such as a mini golf course, super slides, trampolines and much more. For those that like their thrills a little bigger though Oakwood Theme Park is a must. At Oakwood you’ll find a range of hair-raising rides as well as some more tame ones that will please the little ones too. It’s a good sized park set in some particularly picturesque countryside and makes for a great family day out. Another particularly scenic view can be taken if you visit Pembroke Castle one of the most impressive fortifications of its kind protected by river defences and with a series of imposing turrets from which you can get more great views of the local area. |
