A good place to start is The Millennium Centre which is a visitor centre providing you with loads of info on some great scenic walks in the surrounding countryside as well as viewing rooms and a wildlife gallery that the kids will enjoy using. Lodge Farm Park is one of several excellent parks in the Romford area with specifically designed play areas for the younger ones with swings, slides and other classic park entertainment. Perfect spot for a family picnic! If it doesn’t look like there’s going to be suitable picnic weather then never fear because Romford also has a host of superb indoor play areas including Kidspace. Kidspace is a huge soft play centre with an array of different activity areas designed for a whole range of ages. From toddler and baby areas with soft slides and ball pits to the more rapid and exciting thrills of an indoor go-kart track that’ll have any teens with you having a good time too! With so much on offer Romford is certainly the place to go for a great family day out. |
