Murder Mystery Walking Trail overview
The port of Oban is often called the Gateway to the Isles and a great way of exploring this town and its seaside setting is by taking the family on a Treasure Trails Murder Mystery Trail. The idea is ...
simple. Treasure Trails will provide you with a set of clues for which you have to find answers. To do this you follow their directions on a well-marked trail. The answers will be found on various monuments, inscriptions, street signs etc along the way. Once you have the answers, you have to solve a murder mystery and hopefully win a cash prize. Most of the route is level but does include a moderately steep but fairly short climb up to the church. There is also a climb to the top of Pulpit Hill and the final clue is strenuous and involves steps. There is a car park at the top if you would rather drive. The trail is about 2 miles long and will probably take at least 2 hours.
