Heads of Ayr Farm Park, Ayr

Heads of Ayr Farm Park overview

Farms were never like this in our day! At Heads of Ayr Farm Park, along with the sheep there are now wallabies, and there are not only goats to stroke but miniature zebras too. And the children can have sled rides here whatever the weather. With slides and play parks for the young ones and aerial ropeways and super diggers for the not so young, this is just the place for letting off steam! ... Indoor and outdoor fun for all ages and the Roosters Restaurant and Scallywags Cafe will give you a chance for a sit down and a welcome drink or meal. Icecreams are sold at various places in the park during the summer and if you bring your own picnic you will find two undercover picnic areas.

Fantastic day out for children

12 Oct 2012
Visited with: Infant, Child, Teenager
this park is a combination of an animal park and outdoor play area there are animals to look round inside and out with the chance to get hands on outside there were quads for the older children and a small tractor going round with younger children, there were trampolines, slides, chutes, swings, sand pits and much more we were blown away by how good a day we had when we ordered food in the restaraunt they gave you a buzzer which went off when your food was ready to collect leaving you free to go explore on a dry day it is a fantastic place in bad weather it would still be good but you would not get as much of the outside things to do my children were very reluctant to leave even after six hours as there is so much to do and see we would go there anytime one of our best family days out and reasonably priced with good facilities what more could you ask for

Heads of Ayr Farm Park

We went to Heads of Ayr Farm Park in June 2010 and we had a fantastic day out. It was great value for money and there was plenty for the kids to do. Our favourite bits were the bouncy pillows and the mini quad bikes. There are also trampolines, swings, slides, climbing frames and a huge sandpit. You can also take a stroll around the animal park where there are goats, llamas, sheep, lots of different types of monkey and my favourite, the lemars. There is an indoor soft play suitable for both young toddlers and older children. There is a cafe or plenty of picnic benches for you to have lunch or you can enjoy a bar-b-que. Definitely a great day out!
